Kali Shay was a wonderful youg woman who was taken too soon. She passed away on December 29th 2013 just hours after getting married a the Wheeler House in Ball Ground. To honor her memory we have created the Kali Shay Memorial Fund, and the proceeds will go to fund a scholarship to an applicant at Pickens High School each year. In addition, monies are distributed to needy families in the community. The "Kali Shay Student Lunch Fund" has been established at all Pickens County Schools to be funded yearly from race proceeds.
