The Splash & Dash at Fountain Green Swim Club will challenge young athletes all across Bel Air and Harford County! You do not have to be a member of FG Swim Club or FG Swim Team to participate in the race.
5-6
year olds: 50 meter swim, ½ kilometer (.31 mile) run
7-8
year olds: 75 meter swim, 1 kilometer (.62 mile) run
9-10
year olds: 100 meter swim, 1 kilometer (.62 mile) run
11-12
year olds: 150 meter swim, 1½-2 kilometer (1.24
mile) run
13-18 year olds: 200 meter swim, 2
kilometer (1.24 mile) run
The
races will be held consecutively, with our younger athletes starting
first. Athletes will be grouped in heats based on age, and all races
will start and finish at Fountain Green Swim Club. The swim
takes place in the 25 meter, eight lane, heated outdoor pool at
Fountain Green Swim Club, and the run will take place on the property
of FGSC. All areas will be marked off and will have numerous parent
escorts throughout the course.
Entrance
Fee is $30.00 (includes $3 non-refundable processing fee)
Awards
will be given for the top finishers in each age group, both male and
female. Pre and post race concessions will be available and each
Splash & Dash finisher will receive a commemorative race t-shirt
and finisher medal.
