Register now for Wellington's 14thAnnual Family Fun Run & Walk, a community-wide event hosted by Wellington Athletic Club in Flower Mound, TX. The event will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2017, and will include a USATF certified 5K road race (Cert. #TX08022ETM), 1-mile family fun run/walk, raffle drawings, and refreshments. Registration begins at 7am, with the 1-mile untimed walk starting at 8 am and the chip-timed 5K race starting at 8:30 am.
The event is open to everyone, and participants are welcome to run or walk with their (leashed) pets! All proceeds from race entry fees, donations, and t-shirt sales will be given to Humane Tomorrow (formerly the Humane Society of Flower Mound). 5K entry fee is $20 if received by April 3, $25 for registration April 4-14 at noon, and $35 after noon 4/14 and on race day (includes a free t-shirt; for size 2xl shirts add $2).
Please note, shirt quantities and sizes are limited; we cannot guarantee shirt sizes unless pre-ordered by April 3. Groups of 10 or more may register for $20 each; for this option please contact Humane Tomorrow at funrun@humanetomorrow.org. Online registration closes at 12 pm on Friday, April 14, 2017. The one-mile walk is free, but does not include a t-shirt; shirts may be purchased for $12 (size 2xl add $2) while quantities last. Race packet pick-up will be here at the Wellington clubhouse on Friday, April 14, between the hours of 12 noon and 5 pm. If you can't make it then, you can pick up your packet on race day, April 15, starting at 7 am at the registration area on Wellington tennis court #1, to the left of the Wellington clubhouse.
Awards for the 5K race will be given to the overall and masters male and female finishers and to the top 3 male and female winners in the following age categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
